Can't disable Xbox Preview

    Can't disable Xbox Preview


    I can't deactivate Xbox Preview because I don't have access to the account which activated it. Are there any ways to remove the Preview without using the original account?

    I've tried contacting support but their form would not let me put my name in, so I couldn't request help.

    Disable insider preview

    hello can someone help me I bought a second hand Xbox and gamertag that has insider preview enabled I have since deleted the gamertag and can't recover it and I want to remove the Xbox from the insider program as it keeps making my games and apps not work
    correctly I don't know the original owner of the gamertag or the gamertag name my current gamertag is

    Can't disable Xbox Preview

    If an Account opted into the preview program for the console but you don't have access to said account any longer, try uninstalling the app from the console through My Games and Apps. If it does not appear there for you, your best bet would be to reset
    the console back to factory defaults and start from scratch. That way, the preview program won't install when you reload the console with your account info rather than the account that enrolled in the preview program. Here is a quick How-To for resetting
    your console.

    I've tried that. I have fully factory reset the console and logged in with an account that has not signed up for preview. The Dev Mode app still tells me it's still activated.

    I have reset the console again and created a new account and yet the Dev Mode Activation App still tells me I can't be in two previews.
