    Can't detect the Xbox One when clicking Add Device


    I am stumped. I've tried for about a week now to try and figure out how I can solve my issue but I haven't found anything. When I run the Xbox App for Windows 10, and click Add a Device, my Xbox One cannot be found at all, even when inputting the correct
    ip address. I have the same devices on the same network, however, I think I might know the problem. My setup is kinda wonky, let me try to explain.

    PC --> Router designated as an access point to --> Modem

    Xbox One --> Modem

    I am using a wireless router on my PC to connect to my modem, which is why I think it cannot detect the Xbox One on the same network. I've even tried connecting the Xbox to the wireless router via Ethernet but it still won't show up. I am truly stumped.

    G'day Boomer, When the Xbox One console doesn't appear in your Add Device window, have you been through the troubleshooting guide by clicking "Not finding what you are looking for?"

    cant connect my xbox to my computer

    i keep trying to add a new device to my computer (my xbox obviously) and it wont detect my xbox for some reason... solutions???

    Hi Curse, Sorry to hear your experiencing issues detecting the Xbox One. Can you tell us what version of the app your using? Are you also experiencing the same issue using Xbox App (Beta)? You can DL the beta version:
    www.microsoft.com/.../9NBLGGH1J27H, or go to the Store app, search for “Xbox beta” and it will show up as a search result.

    Let us know what you experience. In the mean-time I will highlight this issue in our reports to developers to investigate.

    When you say you try to add a device, you want to add a controller? a keyboard?

    Where did you get the code? you can redeem on the microsoft store. The game its from the same region where do you live?
