    I just bought a new hard drive and can't download my Microsoft profile because there is a corrupted profile on the hard drive. Every time I try to delete it, it says 'cannot perform action.' I've tried clearing my cache, downloading my profile on a USB (which
    worked, but I still can't get it on the hard drive), and taking the hard drive out, but none of this works. Can anyone help?

    Apps not loading

    contacted customer service..had 1 corrupted file....deleted it...cleared cache...deleted profile only....restarted console...downloaded profile again....then everything worked

    to find the corrupted file...go to settings hard drive and look for each possible file...the corrupted file has a warning sign.
    clearing cache - hard drive...press Y - did that 3 times

    Profile gets corrupted again and again

    2 days ago I tried to play online when I couldn't connect to Xbox Live with my Profile anymore. I found out my profile was corrupted, deleted it and tried to recover it when the Error Code 8007045D showed up. So I deleted the new corrupted profile and recovered
    my profile on a USB Device.

    Everything was ok for a day but then I couldn't connect to Live again and my profile was corrupted again.

    I really like my Xbox and I don't want not to be able to play because my profile gets corrupted all the time. I have the old Xbox 360 and I recently bought a new 250 GB hard drive. What can I do?

    Hi there. This may sound crazy but somehow your profile may have became corrupt. As long as the corrupt profile is still on your xbox it's not going to allow you to donwload the profile because it already exists even though you can't see it on your normal
    sign in screen. Go into your storage device and select profiles. I'm sure you will see it there. What you need to do is delete the corrupted profile and redownload it.

    Follow these instructions:

    support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

    This should help but be sure to let us know if this works or not.

    whenever a profile is corrupted then you will first need to delete it from the console (be sure to delete only the profile), when it is deleted you will need to download it again from xbox live (when this is a online profile ofcourse, otherwise this profile
    can't be recoverd)

    I once experienced a problem similar to this, you will need to delete your profile and re download it, it happens when your profile gets corrupted.

    Alright, if the profile is corrupt, you'd need to delete it and then try to download it again and see what happens.

    XBOX 360 Dashboard > Settings > System > Storage > Hard Drive > Profiles > Find the corrupt profile and press A > Select Delete > Delete Profile Only.

    Push the middle button on your XBOX 360 controller and go to Download Profile. Follow the prompts and see if this lets you download your profile and continue with the update.
