    Can't delete saved games


    I've played Hitman all the way through on xbox 1 and just want to play it again with all accomplishments, etc. erased as if it was a new install. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, also "Manage games & addons"--"Saved data"--"Delete everywhere"
    and it's not working. Every time I start the game all my completed challenges and escalations are still completed

    Dear,

    The challenges and accomplishments once completed are added to your Xbox profile.

    Deleting and reinstaliing wont reset it.

    If your intent is to play like a new game with all accomplishments try with a new profile.

    Hitman saves data to third-party sever made by the dev so you will need to either need to request them to delete your data or create a new Xbox Live Account.

    Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums.

    In regards to this, this is as stated above by Xbox Forums Ambassador
    REN AERO    , there is no way for you to be able to delete any achievements on any title you have previously received it on.

    The only other way for you to be able to start a title without any achievements on it, you would have to create a new account and play the game with that new account.

    If it is a digital game, you would need to be on your
    Home Xbox     in order for you to launch that game.

    I'm sorry about any confusion or turmoil this might have caused.

    Many games store part of their progress in your profile, not in the saved game. So, some of what you've done can't be deleted by deleting the saved game, only by starting a new gamertag.
