Can't delete my notification

Hello,

When i try delete all notification, it doesn't work. I have to keep all the time 79 notification. It's same on Xbox (Win 10), Smartglass and Xbox One.

I have already chat with Microsoft Support France and they say " I have to post here".

I would like to delete my notifications would resetting my console help?

 

Remove notifications

.. doesn't work. For instance, I have practically every party ready notification, and every message invitation that I've received since hooking up the console, despite using 'delete' on messages and having either already accepted/played or not accepted
the invitations. The notifications for delete messages stay there, but just give an error that they can't be read because the message was delete, and attempting to accept a match tries then fails (doh, it's only days old!). Old notifications for game/party
stuff needs to be removed when they are stale, and message should go away once deleted.

 

According to the Xbox pop-up notifications guide:

You can open the notification center two ways:

- Say “Xbox, show notifications.”

- Scroll left on Home to open the guide, and then select Notification.

How do you delete your notifications?

-Select the Clear all button at the top of the notification center, or press the X button on your controller to remove the highlighted notification or group.

Hope this helps. Otherwise my recommendation would be to take 10 minutes and scroll through all the notifications until they are considered "read".

I would clear your Xbox One cache for the hell of it also. Perhaps there is a corrupted temporary file somewhere in there that wont allow you to clear temporary notifications.

From Activision:

Unlike Xbox 360, the Xbox One does not have a menu option to clear cache on the console. Instead, follow these steps to clear cache on an Xbox One:

• Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until it powers down completely.
  
• Unplug the power cable from the back of the console so that the power brick in not connected to the console.
  
• Press the power button on the console three or four times. This will ensure that any remaining power in the battery is drained, clearing the cache on the console
  
  .
• Plug the power cable back into the console.
  
• Wait for the light on the power brick to change from white to orange.
  
• Turn on the console using the power button.

 

Microsoft Support France had already give me these steps but when i restart my Xbox One, the notification reappears.

And i have this problem since December ...

 

You could try to delete your profile from your Xbox and then reinstall it. That may reset the notifications on the Xbox.

Otherwise you could go into your Xbox notification center and TURN OFF notifications. Perhaps this will allow it to remove or refresh your notifications.

My searches have found that a hard reset will remove the notifications most of the time. I don't know if you have done this or know how.

Unplug your Xbox power cord from the Xbox and from the power box. Wait 25-30 seconds (the white light on the power box should go dark). Plug the power cords back in and turn on the Xbox. There will be a green loading screen for a while.

Very weird problem you have. I think the best bet is the hard restart or profile reinstall.

 

I had already make these step too but don't work. I don't thinks the problem is my Xbox because i have 79 notification on PC and Smartglass too.

 

I have the same problem, I have two xbox one's a laptop, pc ,and tablet all with the xbox app on. All my devices have reoccurring notifications apart from my lounge xbox one, I have 83 now on devices and all have been read at some point. The lounge one
is set up as my home console so Idk if that is the reason why they don't return after deleting.
