Can't Delete Games After Reinstall

I have downloaded games through the Xbox PC app on to my D drive but the Xbox app was installed on my main C drive.

For some reason i had to reinstall Windows 10 on to my computer. After i did this and booted up the Xbox app i assumed it would recognize the games installed on D drive but it did not.

Windows does not allow me to access those files either so now i have a 150-200 Gb of data that occupies my drive that i can't delete nor access.

Do people who are working on this app have any clue what they are doing ? Recognizing games that are already installed is a feature that you HAVE TO have if you are not allowing users to access the files so they can erase them.

I would really appreciate if anyone helps me get rid of these files.

Hello Efe, situations like its are rare, in many cases manages to solve upgrading Windows to the latest version, and then doing an SFC on the system, and a CHKDSK on hd (D

, in the meantime if they are working, will have to format it and reinstall the games.

Formatting the disk would result in me loosing many valuable data since i don't have any place else to store them.

Also:

I always update my Windows as soon as the update rolls in.

Xbox Companion is of course installed ?

All Xbox apps are up to date.

Delete and reinstall.

Anything on the game will still remain ie level and unlocks as it's all saved.

As additional step, reboot your console after deleted the game and before reinstall it

After deleting the game and then reinstalling it again the game has now loaded.

Delete the game and reinstall it offline. After installing it, launch the game again offline
