Cant delete a club

Hi, I’m very new to this so hopefully I didn’t overlook anything when reading the guidelines

I created a club on impulse years ago and can’t delete it. I’ve tried multiple times, but still can’t. I created multiple clubs before but they were all flops. I’ve given them all a good go but couldn’t get them to take off. Whenever I press the delete button, it doesn’t give me a confirmation screen. Instead it says:

That didnt work

Sorry, give it another try

Any help or worthwhile guesses is/are appreciated

Would you please try preforming preforming a Soft Factory Rest Xbox Support by selecting Reset and keep my games & apps. Also are you under any enforcement action?

I just tried soft resetting my Xbox One and no, it didn’t work

Also no I’m not under any enforcement action that I know of. I think it would’ve worn off by now - I’ve been trying for years

Since you are the owner of the Xbox Club, here's how to delete it permanently:

From Home, scroll to the Community tab and select Clubs on Xbox.

Select the club that you want to delete.

Scroll to the Manage tab.

In the club settings, go to Ownership and select Delete Club.

If this doesn't work, try to delete it on different devices as well.

Upon deleting your Xbox Club, the result may be a bit delayed due to the Xbox Live server as for some their Xbox Club was deleted after 2 weeks.

Yes I'm the owner of said club. I transferred the club to a friend to see if the same problem occurred. They too got the 'Cant do that ' error msg. They deleted the entire txt but couldn't redo it. Some words were accepted every 3 or 4 go's, but ended up denying more. They transferred it back to me but I still cant change any txt.

Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums! I understand that this particular situation can be frustrating to go through. Now, just to clarify, have you already tried to delete the club and if so, is that when it notified you that the club will be deleted
in seven days? Also, if you haven't deleted the club, I would suggest using these steps to delete the club.

If you want to delete a club you’ve created, follow these steps:

From Home, scroll to the Community tab and select Clubs on Xbox.
Select the club that you want to delete.
Scroll to the Manage tab.
In the club settings, go to Ownership and select Delete club.
