    Can’t create Xbox live account - stuck on gamertag creation


    Hello,

    I just recently downloaded Forza 5 on my PS5. When I go to play, it prompts me to make a Xbox account.

    The problem is, whenever I go to the gamertag creation page, and click “next” literally nothing happens. Nothing loads, it just stays there. It’s impossible for me to proceed to the next step.

    I’ve tried on my surface laptop, two different iPads, iPhone, on chrome, edge, safari, private browser, the Xbox app, I even tried signing into my Microsoft accounts page and creating my account from there. The Xbox app allows me to randomize usernames, but when I click save and continue, nothing happens.

    Please advise.

    I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. It sounds like you've already tried some troubleshooting steps without success, and I understand how frustrating that can be. I truly apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

    There is actually someone who posted the same issue in this thread https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/subject/for.... Could you try the steps posted there to see if it works? If not, I recommend trying it again at a later time.

    Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately, this isn’t working. No matter what I do, I can’t proceed from the gamertag creation page.

    I talked to an agent so said he’d have someone reach out to me to discuss further, I’ll keep you updated
