    Can't create multiplayer enabled games of Minecraft anymore


    Why isn't my Xbox allowing me to create or join multiplayer games in Minecraft? It either tells me to join Gamepass, or tells me to change my account settings to allow multiplayer. I'm not joining Gamepass because I never had to to join LAN games with two accounts on mobile and one on PC (neither of which need a subscription to play a game that they already paid for) until just the last update, and all of my settings are set to allow multiplayer. It's not even like I can't play other stuff online; Fall Guys, War Thunder, etc, all still let me play online, but for some reason Minecraft doesn't. I don't care about Realms or dedicated servers, I literally just want to play online with my wife and kids. Anyone ever deal with this?

    Please, let us review if all these options are enabled:

    Using the Xbox Family Settings app on your mobile device, enable Multiplayer for Minecraft.

    In the Xbox Family Settings app:

    Go to Settings > In Enable Minecraft > Select Allow this game.

    Turn on Multiplayer to let a member play online with others

    Enable Clubs so that a member can create and join Minecraft Realms servers.

    Yeah it would be awesome to enable multiplayer on some games without the need to have Xbox Live

    Like Fortnite for instance. So many young gamers on there who can't afford the subscriptions. Even Minecraft would be awesome as a free multiplayer zone
