Can't Copy/Move Large Number of Items

I currently have Rock Band 4 and a ton of DLC on my internal drive, and I'm trying to move it to an external drive so that I can take it to another console. I can go to Manage Game / Manage All / Copy All (or Move All) and it'll tell me "You are about to
copy 1083 items from Internal to External", but hitting Copy/Move does nothing. It just sits there, seemingly forever. Hitting cancel doesn't do anything either. Hitting B will go back to the Manage Game screen. I've let it sit until the console timeout starts
kicking in with no change.

The storage devices are fine as other things copy or move without issue, it just seems that the console has a problem when dealing with the very large number of items in question. No other game has anywhere near this many items to deal with.

Will it move a single game or a fewer number of items? Does the external drive have enough space available for the volume that is to be moved?

 

Tons of space in the destination (almost 650 GB free), and the content is only about 45 GB.

Individual items copy fine, but I'm obviously not going to do that over 1000 times. Other games copy fine as a collection; I think the next biggest I have is Batman Arkham Knight with 33 items and it does the Copy All as expected.

 

Just try doing it in smaller batches. I know it is not optimum but at least you can get it completed.

 

How do you do it in batches? You can do 'copy all' or highlight a single and copy it, but I don't see a way to select multiple items to copy more than one at a time.

 

That's correct. Sorry, I was thinking about doing it on the PC.
