Cant control main screen when on snap

Hopefully someone can help. Ive searched on the internet with no avail.

I have been trying to play watchdogs while watching tv on snap and can not move the cursor off the full screen button and take control of the game. This occurs when any game or app combination is loaded. I have tried pressing every button on the controller
in an attempt to move onto the main screen but it does not work.

The only way I have found to switch between the snapped app and the main content is to hit the guide button on the controller and then select the main (or snapped window) and the controller then controls that part of the screen.

 

Swap snapped app and full screen app capable or no?

I tried this yesterday and found out the same thing. "Xbox Switch" really means you can control the app in the main window or the snap window. NOT switch to full screen. You can make the Snap window full screen but you lose the big screen app. If any thing
I request the snap window bigger. IE is almost useless in the snap window size.

 

Have you used the Kinect command, "Xbox, Switch"? That is the command for being able to switch between the snapped apps.

As said above, have you tried to switch ?

Because once you snap an app, it takes the focus so you have to switch back to the main screen afterwards.

Voice command : "Xbox switch"

pad command : double tap the Xbox button OR tap once to go to the dashboard and then select the main app / game with the 'A' button.
