    Hi everybody

    So I bought an Xbox one brand new on Amazon in December. It's now may 3rd. Last night I turned it on to play andy TV just said "no signal." After fumbling with the HDMI cord, display will flicker on for a second then go black again. I tried several cords
    so I'm fairly certain this is an error with the HDMI port on the Xbox.

    When I tried to send it in for service I was notified I would be billed $380 because apparently my warranty expired in September, 3 months before I bought my Xbox.

    I have called the call center which was extremely unhelpful. It told me to go to xbox.om/help to request a call. Well not only is there no help available for my hardware error or warranty info, but literally every option on the menu. How did it become so
    difficult to contact someone for help in resolving issues?

    It literally seems like microsoft didn't want to pay people to work in call centers anymore and just made their only customer service options robots and this forum. I'm getting extremely frustrated, I just bought this system a matter of months ago and every
    xbox is supposed to have a one year warranty.

    Any help is appreciated

    When you're on the contact site, choose 1 of the billing options. Most of those will give the options to request a call back or chat with support. If you're not seeing those options, change your category/topic until you do.

    What Country/State/Province do you live in? USA, PA

    Modem brand & model number: Westell G

    Router brand & model number: Dynex Super G

    Network Connection Type: Wireless

    If Wireless, what type of encryption are you using? WEP

    Things you have tried: Restarting both modem and router, verified port 3074 is open

    Is NAT Type Open? Yes

    Any Error Codes you encounter:

    What type of internet do you have? DSL

    Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)? Verizon

    When you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" what is the exact message shown on screen? You are connected to the internet but can't access Xbox Live. Your router or ISP may be blocking Xbox Live.

    Lazzarus, it looks like you're connected to your router with a wire, correct? I'm seeing that resetting your modem and router works, but only temporarily. Can you try a direct wired connection to your modem (after it's been reset), and then let me know if
    that works consistently?
