    Microsoft says all Xbox live games are working, but I can't connect to xbox live at all. Not even the lobby.

    What Country/State/Province do you live in? England, Essex.

    Modem brand & model number: Super Hub, VMDG480

    Router brand & model number: Netgear, VMDG480

    If Wireless, what type of encryption are you using?

    Things you have tried: I'm using wireless, and I don't get what it's being stated here.

    Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown: Unknown

    Is NAT Type Open? Yes.

    Any Error Codes you encounter: Nope.

    What type of internet do you have? Cable/DSL/T1/3G? Cable? I think..

    Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)? Virgin Media

    When you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" what is the exact message shown on screen?

    CAN'T CONNECT!!!

    Will someone please tell us all what's going on? I for some reason cannot connect to Xbox Live, and have never had internet problems before. Help?

    Hello,

    There is a microsoft alert about
    instabilities in the xbox live network    . This instability affects the redemption of codes, purchase of games, and download of games. Wait for a while until the network stabilizes.

    This doesn't do it for me, Same issue as OP for 2 days now, I have internet connectivity so I can download and access store etc so your solution doesn't work for me. Site says games and multiplayer is working normally, but now my xbox live gold membership
    which I renewed a few days ago suddenly isn't recognised so can't online multiplayer at all. Account was working fine after renewal initially.

    It says all games running normally, only in-game purchases affected. I can't connect at all.

    Hey Fenix thanks for keeping in touch!

    We suggest if it hasn't already been done to clear the Network Card Cache (alternate MAC address) since it can cause this type of error to come up.

    To clear the Mac address on the Xbox one:

    Settings

    Network

    Network Settings

    Advanced Settings

    Alternate MAC Address

    Clear and restart

    Once it restarts go ahead and give it another shot and keep us posted on how it goes!

    Don't use EA servers, the game has enough servers you can try out just browse servers.

    Hello there,

    Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums! In regards to this issue it sounds as if you need to

    remove your account     from the console and then re-add it as it's the only account on your console that is having an issue logging in. The account might have corrupted data on it which could be preventing it from signing in on your console.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    I would like to clarify, is this only happening with this specific game?

    Also, we may need to refresh the connection between your router and the Xbox, please follow the steps below:

    " 1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

    2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

    3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state."
