Can't connect Xbox one to wifi

Hey there lets try this.

1) Remove the external HDD

2) Follow the link below.

3) Follow the step by step tut in that link

4) Post back here and keep me up to date on whats going on.

I forgot to mention: NAT kept to be strict

Since this player is experiencing a tough bug that doesn't seem to fix when a hard reset is done that's it why i suggested the offline system diagnostic tool it'll run a full scan on the console hopefully determining the solution as well as fixing the issue.

If you got an issue it's best to post in a new thread.

 

I am having the same issues for already 1month did all the troubleshooting called my internet provider factory reset both xbox one and computer( just cause it was linked together) windows 10

but now on the xbox one I cant get past the network connection part still having the same error messages Wifi- security protocol wired- noting plugged in. Help Please

i haven't posted update because i still didn't use the

For the moment wi-fi is working, so i'm writing down that link in case i need it in the future, thank you

I recap my situation, just for case history:

if i turned ON my xbox one with external HD plugged, wi-fi didn't work. If i turned on xbox without hd and THEN i plugged HD, wi-fi worked.

I had NAT Strict, so that's what i did on my router Huawei HG531 v1:

1-i left UPnp enabled,as by default

2-Used DHCP IP reservation for xbox one (not static ip)

3-Set Google DNS on my lan (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4)

4-Followed instructions on this link in order to open ports

portforward.com/.../Xbox_One.htm

This link told you to set any of the port as "TCP/UDP", none of them as "TCP" or "UDP".

5-I shut down router firewall

NAT immediately changed to "NAT Open", and now wifi works even if i turn on xbox one with HD plugged in.

Sadly, the problem is still there if i turn on xbox with HD plugged in.

I formatted xbox but it didn't solve.

Now i don't remember my account email...(saves are not on the account i'm writing here in forum)
