Can't connect xbox 360 to internet or live

I tried both. Restoring to factory settings and enabling uPnP. No way to make it work. It's really weird.

 

I'd like you to do the following.

Turn the xbox on with no internet connected at all.

Restore the settings from your wireless adapter

Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and then select System Settings. Select Network Settings. Select the name of your wireless network. Select Configure Network. On the Additional Settings tab, select Restore to Factory Defaults.
When prompted, select Yes, Restore to Factory Defaults.

Create a FIXED IP on your Xbox

Again select System Settings. Select Network Settings. Select the name of your wireless network. Select Configure Network. and fill in a fixed IP address like 192.168.2.235. For the Subnet, Gateway and DNS, you can use your own what you have written
in your openings post. Or you can use for the DNS 8.8.8.8 and 2nd 8.8.4.4. (Open DNS from Google). When thats done, turn off the Xbox and go into the interface from your router.

Settings Router

Go to 'Firewall/DMZ' enable DMZ and fill in The fixed IP address 192.168.2.235. and press 'SAFE'. Leave uPnP enabled. Restart the router, Wait for a view minutes till you see that your router is connected to the internet properly and turn on the Xbox.

I wanna know for sure if the wireless is working properly or not. By saying that you did go to the menu when asked press B i assume you mean that you can see the games an video content from the marketplace. I'd like you to try these steps also with a wired
connection. If it is that the wireless is to weak to get connected to the internet, i think you should be getting in contact with your Internet Service Provider to see if they can swap your router.

I'll give it a try but i just wonder how my issue could be solved with a cable while my xbox is already connecting perfectly to the router with three full bars.

Finally I have found a solution. After one week with my xbox not connecting to internet I figured out how to fix the problem as it follows:

1-Although this could be useless, i suggest to restore your router to factory settings (be sure to know your provider's username and password before doing that).

2-If you are sure that your router can connect to internet turn on the xbox and go directly to network settings. In the section configure network choose "manual" (I know it sounds weird but even if the values of ip, gateway and subnet mask look correct in
automatic, you will have to set them manually). Leave the DNS in automatic. After this just leave it and go back to your router settings.

3-Go to the port forwarding settings and do exactly as it is told on the official support page. Open the ports as follows:

Port 88 (UDP)

Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

Port 80 (TCP)

4-Again on your router, set up a DMZ only for the ip assigned to the xbox.

5-Turn off the xbox.

6-Turn off and disconnect the router from the power at least for 30/40 seconds.

7-Turn on the router and wait it to be connected then turn on the xbox.

This worked for me after a week of total frustration. Good luck.

 

DMZ and port forward, and the issue was vanished? Oh ok.. In my eyes a bit strange but I'll keep this in mind for this type of modems. Thanks for the update and have fun again! Cheers!

 

As you can read in my post i also mentioned about entering network settings manually. That's the thing. Strange but true.
