Can't connect xbox 360 to internet or live

Hello everybody, i live in Turkey and I am not able to connect to xbox live. One month ago it was ok but today It began not to work. I already have done all i found on Internet about this issue such as port forwarding, DNS, etc. but nothing.

can't connect to xbox live

I just buy a Xbox 360 S and i'm connected to the internet but I can't connect to the xbox live...

someone know if the xbox live is offline or is having some problems?

 

Xbox 360 Internet connectivity Problem

I am trying to connect my xbox 360 to xbox live. Before I install the new update, the xbox internet works fine. But, after the update my xbox either does not connect to the internet or it says that the xbox 360 will connect to the internet but, xbox live
won't connect properly or something like that. I can only connect to the internet by using my laptop to share the connection. So does anyone have any idea to fix this? Thanks.

Can you give us the brand name and model-number of your internet equipment (modem /router) to better explore what your options are?

Hi, thanks a lot for your reply. My router is an AIRTIES Air5650TT and my connection ok.

 

The "etc." you mentioned, can you detail that for me in order to understand what you have done so far?

Can you just bring the router back to fabric settings and turn on the uPnP only to see if that is making any difference?

Also bring back the console to fabric settings so that everything is working automatically.

I tried the following steps:

1-Forwarding ports as suggested on the support page

2-Entering IP, Subnet Mask, DNS manually (also tried with open dns)

3-Clearing the cache 3 times

4-Turning off firewall

5-Changing wi-fi channel from 1 to 11

6-Turning off all the other machines connected to the router (smart phone, ipad...)

7-Checking if was banned for any reason, no ban (also the wouldn't have any reason to do so)

I can't understand how it stopped working suddenly. I don't know if this could be related but the problem began just after i purchased a new game (GTA V) from Xbox online market.

 

Did you brought your Xbox to a friend, had the Xbox ever seen an other network environment or did you download your profile to an other console recently?

If possible, try to connect your xbox wired direct in to the modem just to see if that will work. By the way, Is there an option to set uPnP in your router anyway? If no, use DMZ with the IP address the Xbox gives you from your router.

And if lo luck at al, if you ar sure that your security proofs are up to date, try to

delete your profile (profile only, you would not want to lose your safedata) and

re-download it again.

 

Honestly i didnt try another network. I will first try the wired connection. Just a question: if i delete my profile, how can i download it back if the xbox doesnt connect to internet?

In order to see if the console haves a connection with internet, I see that your router gives you the "2.228" private IP (which is good by the way)

Can you confirm that you can see the content in the dashboard, when you don't have any profile loaded in? Or are you getting a suggestion to join Xbox live with no content from the marketplace at all?

 

When i turn on the console i see all the profiles created, including the one (the main one let's say) linked to xbox .live. All the time my first attempt is to enter my profile but after a minute i see the error and a suggestion to turn off my router for
30 sec. (Did thousands times).

 

When turning the Xbox on, and you see your created profiles, instead of going in to one, press B to see the dash...

What do you see then on your dashboard with no profile logged in?

 

When i press b it takes me to the menu. Is this good or bad?

 

Dear friend, i have an info that may help. I tried to connect the xbox using my iphone in hotspot mode and it does connect. Of course the system says that the 3g connection will limit the experience and gives nat error. At this point i can be quite sure
that the problem is in the router. Do you still suggest to restore to factory setting the router? Should i change that machine?

 

Yes. Please do. If you can find the function uPnP as well, enable that also.
