cant connect xbox 360 controller to windows via USB

i cant connect xbox 360 controller to my laptop via USB, the wire is new and it works on Xbox 360 console and i have the latest windows 10 installed (1903).

i have tried methods in xbox site but still nothing but from what i have seen from youtube the problem is there isnt OTHER DEVICES in DEVICE MANAGER

If it's a wired controller, then just connect via the USB connection, and Windows should install the driver for you. If it is wireless controller, then you will need the official Xbox 360 wireless controller adapter for PC.

i have tried both before but they didnt help.

but
i cant get to download MICROSOFT XBOX 360 ACCESSORIES, but it is already installed.

After you plug it in, is it listed in Settings, Devices? Try clicking on add device in the settings, device menu.

Xbox 360 controller needs a special adapter, for detect controller on PC. If you want play with xbox controller on PC I recommend Xbox ONE controller.
