cant connect with Xbox 360 slim

I have a Xbox 360 slim which has a built in WiFi receiver, but i think that the receiver broke so i was wondering if i could buy an Xbox 360 wireless adapter which would pick up the signal from my router and change it into a wired connection, but i was wondering
it that would work, any ideas?

3 xbox 360s in one house but one is nat restricted?

We have three Xbox 360s in one house. One only connects to the local network and the other two are connect the Xbox live. The local Xbox 360 and the other Xbox 360 (which is connect to Xbox live) are a standard xbox 360 and mine is a Xbox 360 slim.

Now for some reason the Xbox 360 slim has NAT restriction and we cant figure out why. We have opened ports 53, 80, 1863, 3074 and enabled Upnp and still nothing works. The only other thing i can think of is port forwarding to the Xbox 360 slims ip but we
want to stay away form that if possible.

Cant connect on xboxlive with new console

Yesterday i bought Xbox360 Slim and it cant connect on xbox live. My old xbox (60GB) connects perfectly and there are no problems at all with my it. So what is the problem with my new slim?

You have a built in wireless system in the Xbox 360 Slim. What you need is a modem and router (prefer wireless since you already have WLAN on your Xbox 360) Install your router device and connect that to modem. On your Xbox 360, search for your router, here's

Im pretty sure that you cant use the old wifi adaptors with the xbox 360 slim because the internal wifi connection utilizes wifi-N, the newer standard of wireless connections and may not properly interface with the xbox 360 slim.

As for getting a better signal.... i dont think it really makes a difference, most issues regarding that usually are environmental issues surrounding the 360 and nearby access point or the router. For instance having thick walls, microwaves, other computers
running wireless, etc.
