Can't connect to Xbox services on WP8/W8

I bought roughly one month ago a Nokia Lumia 720 which uses the WP8 and I've been facing a problem with the Xbox services like Games and Music.

When I try to connect I get the error coded 80154017, saying that there was simply a flaw to fulfill the request.

I am also having troubles when trying to connect to the account in the PC, when I log in I'm greeted by a screen to update my Xbox account to a Xbox Live account, but when I try to continue it leads me to a screen saying that I "found a glitch in the system".

And, if that was not enough, I can't connect to the W8 Games app because I get the error 0xc101a247 and a message saying that I don't have a Xbox associated to the Live account and it tells me to create a Xbox profile to use with the account.

I've had no success trying to search for the error codes, nor any solution I found online showed itself useful...

Just a reminder: I don't have a Xbox console, the only devices that I have which can use the Xbox Live are my PC with W8 and my mobile with WP8.

MS did an internal demo today of a future game streaming service that would allow a game to be streamed to at least any Windows NT 6.2 device (XB1, WP8, W8)

 

Login to XBox Music error

Hi CapitaoAzul, you're probably Brazilian like me buy please tell me how did you fix it? I'm really frustrating because cloud collection isn't working on Xbox Music throught W8 and WP8, please help asap!

 

im sorry your having these problems its amazing technology to have. but if your having those issues id call up support and find out whats going on

 

G'day moises327! Just to verify, are you using the same email and password on your phone that you used to log in here to post? Because this profile definitely has a gamerscore and recent activity. If you're signing in with a different microsoft account,
it may be that account does not yet have a profile tied to it. What browser are you using when you try to sign in at xbox.com?

The gamertag you want on there, make its associated email (the one you use to log in) the primary Microsoft Account MSA) on the phone.

If you don't already have an MSA on there, it's an easy case of going to Settings/email+accounts and adding it.

If you do, you need to reset the device by going to Settings/About/Reset and hard-resetting the phone. Anything not backed up will be lost through this process. After that, just set up the phone again with the correct MSA as primary (the first MSA you enter).

Back to the problem: I'm using this email and gamertag (which is associated to the email) for both W8 and WP8, and I'm going to answer each question/suggestion separately.

@proneto911 I was going to call the support, but I thought it would be better to try the foruns first, since then, I have had no time...

@Misses Joust Indeed, I have game activity in my account and, as I said earlier in this post, I'm certain that it's the same email address for both Xbox and Live account, it just started from nowhere to count my game activity, but only in my PC with W8.
Although, I still can't log in to the Games app in W8/WP8

@Maxen13 Again, as I said earlier, I'm using this account as primary to both W8/WP8, my problem seems to be related specifically to the update from Xbox to Xbox Live thing, I will upload a screenshot of the error while trying to update the account:

Well, thanks for all, but it seems that my problem is way deeper than I expected, I will try contacting to phone support.

 

It sounds like you need to contact Phone Support:

support.xbox.com/.../contact-us

It would be easiest for them to see what's going on.

Never mind, it's OK, it could have been a reason actually... Tomorrow I'll try the phone support (it's 10:35PM where I live now, I think that they are not taking calls now...)

OK, hit a problem here: I requested the call from the support, and for my surprise, they put me through the SPANISH support, even though my mobile number clearly had +55 in the beginning, indicating that I'm from Brazil (not exactly proud about that)...

I'll try Twitter support now, at least I know it will be in english...

 

Quick update: I called the support, my account seemed fine from their end so they rerouted my case to more specialized support. Should hear about a solution in 5 days

 

Update: support sent me a e-mail and their "solution" is that I need to buy Live Gold to be able to connect to Live services in W8/WP8. My solution was change the my PC to a local account and use another Live account [without Gold] to connect to the services
(which worked just fine). So, the support must not know what they're doing...

 

Just a quick update: the problem has just been solved out of nowhere, no further contacts where made. I can connect with my account now in W8 and WP8.
