    Hi there,

I can’t connect to Xbox One using Xbox app or smartglass on Windows 10 so I cannot stream games.

The wi-fi connection between my laptop and xbox one is working fine as i tested it using the regular “cast to device” feature of windows 10 and successfully cast a video to my xbox one without issue but connecting to my xbox one through the app is impossible
    -

It lists xbox one in the app under “connect to your xbox one” but when i click connect it just says cant connect, the same happens with smartglass and the same happens using these apps on the ipad it also won’t connect.

I tried manually adding the xbox using ip address and that doesnt work either, i get error code 0x8000001f. I checked xbox sharing settings on my xbox and its says cast/smartglass is allowed.

I am out of ideas about how to fix this and have exhausted the help solutions such as adjust your router settings, restart router, restart devices, uninstall/reinstall apps and nothing has worked.

It says support is open 10-6 but wont let me request a call, can anyone here help me? It would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Rachael.

    :)
