Cant connect to Xbox live.

Iv done everything that I am able to do. Unplugged and repluged my router. Redownloaded my profiel. Did internet tests. But it wont go from internet to Xbox live. This is the first time its happening and even when i can connect its only for a few seconds
or mins. Please help i don't know what to do

ok so I got a new router from twc yesterday, hooked it up and everythings fine, ive got an xbox 360 in the living room that's working great but my sons xbox 1 down in the basement cant connect to xbox live, I done the test connection down there and it said it was connected but he still cant get on xbox live, everything is hooked up just like before

Also Some more info about it. Using a 2014 netgear wierless router. No internet adapter to the Xbox. Charter WiFi. 60mbps.3 months of gold left.

 

Also i live in the united States. Console type is Xbox 360 E bought back in april.

 

I'm having the same problem. Started today and I haven't been able to connect to Live at all. Contacted Xbox Chat support and they told me it was my internet provider's fault, but yet my PS3 and all other devices can connect just fine, so that tells me it's
on Xbox's end. Would love an answer to what is wrong. I am also in the United States, using an Xbox 360 Elite edition with no internet adaptor, 10 months of gold left, and on a Cisco wireless router. This seems to be a bigger problem than just me, as you've
come here for help, as well.

Suspect XBL is under DDOS attack. downdetector.com/.../xbox-live has several reports from across the US that people can't connect. Meanwhile, MS is reporting that XBL is fine. It may
not technically be a problem with the XBL servers, but it's still an MS issue if their network can't handle the new internet normal of frequent DDOS attacks.

 

Same problem here, chat with Xbox and troubleshooting didn't help, seems like a bigger issue than they are letting on.

 

Had someone try to help me through chat earlier, and was able to sign in to Xbox Live for about half an hour by adding two forms of contact to my Microsoft Profile. Now I'm right back to the same problem of being unable to connect and getting an X between
Internet and Xbox Live on the Test Connection screen.

Supposedly Xbox's engineers are on the case now trying to figure out the issue. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

I can't connect, either. I live in the upper Midwest, and according to downdetector, that's where a large number of people are reporting Live connection issues. ISP is good, network is good, everything but the Xbox connects just fine. Hell, the Xbox even
states that it has Internet connectivity, just can't connect to Live. So yeah, either a DDoS attack, or someone spilled coffee on the server bank in Chicago...

 

I live in the Midwest also. Xbox one is connecting fine. Xbox 360 isn't connecting to Xbox Live. Chat help had me delete my profile and try to re-download it. ATTN: Do not do this. Now my offline games do not recognize my profile. Not at all happy with
their broken English online chat help.
