Can't connect to Xbox LIVE

I am trying to sign my daughter up to Xbox live via her console only account (now she is old enough and responcible enough to go online), after I have gone through all the rigmaraul of entering my credit card details and billing address toi confirm I am
an adult it starts to creat her Live Profile then comes back with the message "Sorry, Xbox LIVE sign up isn't available right now. Try again later." I ended up giving up on this otion and created her Live profile via Xbox.com.

Now we have a SECOND problem, when I carry out the following 'social>click "join the fun">click sign in' it takes me to the screen with all the Avatars and I don't get an option to sign in with er live account to pull it in to her profile, I can only download
it as a second profile for her to use.

I have spoken to online support (3 hours of going round in circles) they said they can see no problem with Xbox live sign up facility and that the problem is because ger tag (her name) is already inuse, but it hasn't asked me for a gamer tag yet. Annoyingly
when I try the sign up agin using same info used on xbox.com it tells me deatials already inuse via another profile please use diffrent info, Why doesn't it give me the choice to pull in the live profile with this info as I have already input the correct password
and e-mail.

I have a print out of the conversation between my elf and helpdesk (help in the losset sense) operative.

Anyone able to help????

Xbox Live connection lags yet internet connection is excellent. Nat becomes Moderate

I can't connect to Xbox Live when bridging. My Xbox settings are on Automatic and I can't connect.
