Can't connect to XBOX Live

Had anyone figured this out yet?

 

I know people who are on xbla right now.

 

add another tally to that much cuz i cant sign in with my profile without giving all my info as well

 

Well I'll modify that statement to read that it's down for Most people at the moment. They'll be working to restore service, so some people will have it and others won't.

 

Tried to redownload mu profile but it wont let me. Now I cant play any ges even in offline because I dont have a profile anymore.

 

Thanks for the update! Saddened to know that a xbox is under attack, glad to know that the xbox team is on the case. I for one want to thank them for their hard work.

 

i have been having trouble as well i have tried to redownload my profile, unplug router-modem-system power for five minutes, as well as a couple of other things suggested... but with the security part it has either a error after the save password, or it
will go through for a little bit but can't open any apps before the system frezes up and have to turn system off then back on but then it will still act up

 

Live is acting crazy, and it's pretty ridiculous you guys can't fix your servers to at least show they're having problems. I thought it was my console for the last hour. "@Lizardsquad" claims responsibility, CHARGE THEM!!!!!

This isn't even the first time this happened this happened to me about 6 weeks back when I got hit with this error code, the person on the phone told me that I have to redownload my account into which it worked, How ever that was only for a short time.

What really starting to *** me off is that fact that this has happened again!, this time it's when I renew my gold really? the timing couldn't be worse, I could understand if and only if it was a real attack but seeing Microsoft track record as of late.
Unless I see undeniable proof it's a attack I'm less likely to believe it seeing how as of now I have 7 friends online playing right now. also as of posting this I'm also unable to log into my xbox live account so attack? AH Microsoft fix it. now and for good.

P.s, I love how I need to re-input my password for my live account every time I try to log in...

 

It was a DDoS attack, check the twitter feed for a group called Lizard Squad. Plenty of 'proof' there.

 

You didn't get bumped to the end of the line, the estimated wait time is based off of average call length along with the number of people in front of you, in other words, the CSR's are getting stuck on phone calls for a longer period of time, hence, your
increase in estimated wait time.

The wait time is much longer than normal tonight due to all the ongoing server issues.

I'm sure you've already checked, but if the phone support option is available for your type of issue, you might feel more comfortable choosing it, since it will call you when an agent is available.

Still in the dark here, I've at this point tried absolutely everything I can personally think of... I really wish I had kept a few saved games on the cloud though at this point lol. It's extremely frustrating to be watching Netflix on one of my xbox's
but be completely unable to play anything because my main currently hates me.

 

So I've tried all the various topics, such as deleting my profile and installing it again.

I've verified the networking issues etc etc.

My friends account works just fine, the login takes about 5 seconds but mine takes a 1+ minute and then I get bumbed to 'enter email" and "enter password"

Once I do that the xbox bubble appears at the bottom stating 'You logged onto Xbox Live" and then I get returned to start screen, but without being connected to Xbox Live.
