Sooooo...could this possibly mean that if we submitted our email addy and password that they could possibly be compromised?

I can't connect to Xbox Live when bridging. My Xbox settings are on Automatic and I can't connect.

 

Unlikely, since a DDoS is just a denial of service attack, rather than an actual hack attempt.

 

Yahoo and many others have written about what Microsoft seems unwilling to admit or even acknowledge. Why they didn't beef up security after the September attack on the Playstation Network is anyone's guess. Either way, it's complete b.s.

 

I have the same issue and have no idea how to fix it. I don't know if it is due to the servers being hacked (which apparently happened tonight) or if it is something I have to do. But I can't find a fix for it anywhere.

 

Don't delete your profile, it's not an issue on your end. Xbox Live is down for everyone at the moment. There was a DDoS attack by a group called Lizard Squad and are still either dealing with that attack or are dealing with the ramifications of it. Unfortunately,
patience is the only answer at the moment.

 

Went through the steps suggested with no success. Now can't download my profile, says "Sorry, Xbox Live profiles can't be downloaded right now. Try again late. 80151103. So if you wanted to play any games that don't require online play don't do like I did
and delete your profile because you won't get it back.

 

Even Bungie has commented on this issue.

I was watching Netflix on my XBOX console, suddenly got booted off. When I tried to sign in again I would be in for maybe 2 minutes before getting booted off again. Then I wasn't able to get back in. It kept saying there was something wrong with the internet
connection, but there wasn't. Rebooted xbox console and modem/router, when I started the console up again, it is not allowing me to sign in. I will select my profile, it will prompt me to enter my email and password then gives me an option to remember password,
whether I select remember password or not, it doesn't work. It will sign me in while the remember password page is loading then sign me out. A message will pop up that reads "sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Code: 80151103"

This issue has been ongoing for hours now and has become frustrating. Wait time to speak to an agent is over 2 hours, which has brought me here.

I'm getting this issue now, is there any update to fixing it? I've tried just about everything.

 

It was working fine all day then when I stopped playing Destiny I went to watch YouTube but I got an error message stating the following, "This game requires a connection to xbox live." When I went to follow it's instructions I was already signed into
live as well as having a stable Internet connection. I am using a ethernet cable. I tried unplugging the modem for 5 minutes but no change in behavior. Hoping for a solution or possible ideas, thanks in advance.

 

I went to log in to Xbox Live and an "Add Security" box keeps opening up asking me for my username and password. I enter them and the "Signed In to Xbox Live" popup appears at the bottom of the screen, but then I get the error code 800705B4. When I click
"OK" on the error and get out, I see my profile isn't in fact signed in.

Please advise
