Can’t connect to Xbox Live with working network

Hello, I’m not sure if anyone has a solution to this, but it’s really a frustrating problem.

My dad renewed our Xbox live membership and I didn’t get around to getting on my Xbox One until a few weeks after.

For some reason it said I wasn’t able to connect to Xbox Live. My network was working fine and I ran all the tests but there was no error shown. I am able to access apps like Netflix and YouTube, but unable to play any of my games. I thought it was my WiFi
before, but it’s working fine with everything else. I don’t know if it makes a difference but we have Comcast for our WiFi network.

I was wondering if anyone had a solution for this. I also cannot check my subscriptions for my account to check on my Xbox live membership. It says “This service is unavailable at this time.”
