Can't Connect to Xbox Live/Update

Discus and support Can't Connect to Xbox Live/Update in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Whenever I try to connect to Xbox Live, I get a message saying "Can not connect to Xbox Live, Test Connection" Or something along the lines of that....     Can't Connect to Xbox Live/Update


    Whenever I try to connect to Xbox Live, I get a message saying "Can not connect to Xbox Live, Test Connection" Or something along the lines of that. When I go to test my connection, it says that Xbox Live can't connect to the internet, or vice versa.

    But this never happened until about a month ago. I think the cause might be because of an update, sometimes when I'm trying to sign into my account it tells me that there is an update ready to install, but I try to install it, but it tells me to go and test
    the connection.

    Anyone know any fixes? I've tried factory resetting the Network connection, unplugging my router for 30 seconds, and deleting the system cache.

    8007-2746 means you're having a connectivity issue.

    Its a "lovely" cycle - can't update cause it needs to connect to live, can't connect because it needs an update but can't update until it connects to live.

    You can try manually installing by going to support.xbox.com and searching for console update - "Update your xbox 360 console" will have the information you need.

    Xbox live connection.

    Keep being told of updates required, when I try to update Xbox can't connect to live. Tried resets and tests but can't connect live at all. All other Internet devices in the house are ok.

    8007-2746 means you're having a connectivity issue.

    same here, my lounge xbox can't download the update because it can't connect to live. my bedroom xbox downloaded the update after trying to connect to live a few times. my bedroom xbox, though, can't connect to live now either and it's been updated, whats
    with that? we've been tryna clock gears3 on insane over live, but now we're just gonna watch movies from the rental shop. stink.

    Yep, happened to me too. Can't connect to Live without the update, and can't download the update because I'm not connected to Live.

    The status code says its something with its Live connection, which could be as annoying as "I need to connect to LIVE to download the update! but... I can't connect to LIVE without the update... but I need to connect to download the update! But I can't connect
    without the update..." over and over again.

    The link above will take you to a page that will help with getting it manually installed.

    Annoying issue: Update Failed.

    try waiting 4 days and then try updating the xbox. this may be the problem since it can't connect to xbox live to recieve the update
