    I just renewed my gold subscription on the 7th, ever since then I have been unable to connect to Xbox live. I get an error that states "your console can't connect to Xbox live. Do you want to exit this session and test your network connection?...etc. " with
    an error code of 800704DC. Now, I'll run the test and it connects just fine, but when I try to sign in again, I get the same error. I can sign in and play online with my wife's profile, but not my own. could this be a billing error? I have received an email
    stating I successfully renewed my subscription, but it hasn't popped up on my bank account yet, even though the funds are available. Thanks for your help.

    Xbox Reboot

    I have three profiles in my xbox. Just when i connected at live with one of these profiles, my xbox reboot.

    If i stay offline, the xbox doesn't reboot. If i connect at live with other profile, the xbox doesn't reboot too.

    The reboot just happens when i connect with a specific profile at live.

    Someone can help me?

    hello try this:

    Solution 1: Verify the information for your Microsoft account

    To resolve this issue, verify the information in your Microsoft account. To do this, follow these steps:

    In a browser, sign in to your Microsoft account.

    Note If you forgot your password or cannot sign in by using your password, see Reset your password.

    Note any error messages that are displayed.

    After you resolve any errors, verify the information in your Microsoft account. For example, verify the billing information or the information in the Password and security info section.

    Sign out of your Microsoft account, and then sign in again.

    On your console, sign in to Xbox Live and try to download your profile again.

    Solution 2: Change your Microsoft account password

    In a browser, go to your My account page.

    Click Change password.

    Type your current password and a new password, and then click Save.

    Sign out of your Microsoft account and then sign in again.

    On your console, sign in to Xbox Live and try to download your profile again.

  5. I checked all my account information and deleted my account so I could redownload it and it will start the download and then tell me "sorry downloading profiles is current unavailable" so now I can't even download my profile. What is happening? I can't even
    play my purchased games now, this is getting ridiculous.

    um have you tried to clear the system cache? (you probably know this but, settings system storage hovor over HDD hit Y clear system cache hit yes)

  7. Still no luck. I'm going to give customer service a call in the morning. I have no access to any of my content or profile. I'm going to assume it's just a billing error and it can be fixed over the phone. If not, I guess I'll be selling my Xbox.

    Please keep us updated on the response of Xbox Phone Support.

    Also, if they were unable to help you, could you perform the following steps:

    1. Delete your profile from your Xbox 360 console.
    2. Clear the System Cache.
    3. Restore the network settings on the Xbox 360 to default.
      1. Press the Guide Button on your controller, go to Settings
      2. Select System Settings then Network Settings
      3. Select Wired Network or your wireless network when displayed
      4. Select Configure Network then Additional Settings tab
      5. Select Restore to Factory Defaults then confirm when prompted.

    4. Power cycle your Xbox 360.
    5. Try re-downloading your profile.
    Let us know how those steps worked out for you!

    There's an authentication problem related to your account/profile.

    The only resolution is for you to contact Xbox LIVE support and they can further assist you on this matter.

  10. I contacted support and got upgraded to "teir 3 status" and there's up to a 4 day waiting period. We went through all of the solutions and nothing worked. They will email me sometime within 4 days and hopefully they will be able to get this straightened
    out. I love losing a week of my Xbox live subscription over some Microsoft screw up. I can't even play offline because my profile is gone. Made a dummy account but it's great to know any progress I make is moot.

  11. So after 5 days I still haven't heard back from support. Has anyone had an experience with this? Any other suggestions than changing my information and resetting my password? I would really like to have my Xbox back again.

  14. Deleted all of my billing and contact information, despite it all being correct, and resubmitted it. Profile works now. Makes no sense to me, but at least I fixed it, with no help from customer support. Thank you all for your suggestions.
