    Can't connect to Xbox live on this console


    Hello,

    I am having difficulty playing Xbox live on my Xbox one. The situation is I'm trying to play Halo: Reach online on my Xbox One so it's a backwards compatible game. I was able to play just fine until I changed my gamer tag. After changing it this is the message
    I receive when I try to sign in: "Sorry, this profile can't connect to Xbox Live on this console. To fix it, download it again."

    How do I download it again? I've seen other posts where downloading again doesn't work anyway so if that's not the solution can someone please enlighten me on what I need to do.

    Starting up my Xbox 360 S and signing in the console says "Your console can't connect to Xbox Live" So I exit this session and test my network connection. It is a wired connection. So I test Xbox Live Connection. The console says that it can't obtain an

    8007-2746 means you're having a connectivity issue.

    Its a "lovely" cycle - can't update cause it needs to connect to live, can't connect because it needs an update but can't update until it connects to live.

    You can try manually installing by going to support.xbox.com and searching for console update - "Update your xbox 360 console" will have the information you need.

    Hi there,

    the problem is that the game itself needs an update from Xbox Live in order to be supported on the console, but since your console can not connect to Xbox Live it can't get the update, besides connecting to Xbox Live there are no other ways to get an update
    for a game that is supported.

    I'm afraid it's just not possible with that console.
