Can't connect to Xbox live on 360

I can connect to Xbox live on my Xbox one. But when I try to play an Xbox 360 game through backwards compatibility, I get the "A problem occurred while signing in. Please try again. If the problem persists, visit www.Xbox.com/support." Message. I've tried
power cycling my console, deleting the profiles on 360(now I can't re download them), and clearing all 360 save data from my console. I even spent 15 minutes on the phone with a rep from Xbox live support who couldn't help me. I'm really starting to get ****
off. Any help would be appreciated.

HEELLPP!!!!! I am trying to connect to my xbox live while playing Lego Indiana Jones for the 360 one

I have been trying to connect to xbox live while playing a 360 game on my one, as I mentioned above the game was Lego Indy for the 360. It says it can't connect to live but IM SIGNED INTO LIVE ON MY XBOX ONE PROFILE. Which is on the same console I'm trying
to connect to 360 live on. T.T can't connect my behind. T.T Please Help Me!

Is you console connected to your internet via Ethernet or Wi-Fi? If you're using a wireless connection, let's have you connect using an Ethernet cable to see if you're able to log-in and play. That said, I can see from your

Xbox.com profile page that you were recently playing Black Ops II and Borderlands though.
