Can't connect to xbox live error code

Hi everyone I am having trouble connecting to xbox live. I have set up my laptop with a dongle and connected to the xbox 360 with a network cable. This has worked flawlessly for the last month and about 2 nights ago while playing on xbox live I got disconnected
and haven't been able to connect to live ever since, when I run a network connection test it says I'm connected to the network and Internet but then there is a red cross between Internet and xbox live and alerts me with an error code of 80151909. I have spoken
to a Microsoft consultant and I have deleted my gamer profile and now I cannot download it again as it says I need to be connected to xbox live, I have tried the extended power cycle, and restored the factory network settings but nothing seems to resolve the
issue. Any help will be appreciated

having a similar problem but no error code. somehow today my profiles and all my games and other saved data were wiped and could 't even try to sign in to xbox live when attempting to download my profile. I had changed my password on live on my laptop and
verified it was changed. It will let me sign in on my laptop but not on my xbox 360. keeps telling me that the password is incorrect but I know it is correct because it lets me sign in on the laptop.

When you try to sign in to your xbox live account on your Xbox 360, does it mention anything about Two-Step Verification? If it does then would you click on this link
account.live.com/.../Manage make sure that you sign into that link. Once you have signed into that link, then scroll to Two-Step Verification and make sure you have it turned off! And then
try logging back into your Xbox Live Account, thank you for your time!

I apologize for the issues that you are having on the Xbox 360, would you like this post and would you try this troubleshoot. If it works, let us know!

Troubleshoot For Xbox 360

Open System Settings

Click on Storage

If you have a Hard Drive then highlight Hard Drive, if you have a Memory Unit then highlight memory unit (either one)

Press the following buttons;

LB,RB,X and then LB,RB,X again

There will be a popup and click on Yes

The Xbox will reboot and ask you to update your console and go ahead and do that

Once you are loaded back onto your dashboard, go ahead an redownload your profile

Redownload Your Profile

Press the Xbox Button on the controller

Then click on Download Profile

(If you don't see Download Profile, then sign out of your current account)
