    Got an Xbox one for my birthday and bought the new FIFA 18 i get on Xbox live and connect to the EA servers when I use foxfi mobile hotspot through my phone but it drains your phone data so. can't use that my sister bought me a 4gee EE mini WiFi it says
    that the console is connected to the internet but it won't let me on Xbox live or connect with the EA servers when trying to play FIFA 18 it comes up on screen saying http /help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/not able to connect to online play im not very technically
    sound so if anyone can help me i would really appreciate it

    Need help connecting to EA Servers

    I can connect online on CoD Ghosts, but I can't connect to EA Servers on NBA 2K14 or FIFA 14. I also can't connect to Xbox Live parties, but I did get a private chat with my friend. What is going on?

    I bought last week fifa 2014, and im trying to connect to ea servers,

    but fails all the time.

    Do I need xbox live gold subscription to connect to ea servers ?

    Hello lil_duru,

    What console are you using (Xbox 360, Xbox One/S/X) and how are you connected to the internet (WiFi/Ethernet cable)? Also, what version of Fifa are you playing? (FIFA 20, 19, 18...)

    FIFA is EA. And you must connect to EA servers when playing an EA game on Live. I wonder if the possible security breach is on EA's end(?)

    my £5 copy of fifa 11 is forever crashing on me because it can't connect to the EA servers. That probably has nothing to do with live and everything to do with EA pushing me to upgrade. I've taken the unpresidented step in unhooking my ethernet cable before
    loading up now.

    Xbox Live status shows that games aren't having a problem right now.

    I've been looking around some various sources online and people are reporting EA server outages within the last 12 hours (from the time of this posting). If the EA servers are inaccessible, then it will affect getting FIFA 16 from being able to get online.
    I can't exactly find an official live server status from EA (other than third-party sources where people must report server outages themselves).

    Your best bet is to just simply wait and try again later. It could be working by now, or not. EA games often need to connect to EA servers first regardless of Xbox Live's status.
