Can't connect to xbox live after name change and accidental unplug of console

Hi, I changed my name on xbox 2 hours ago, and I was waiting for the name to change and I was going downstairs and I stepped on my XBOX 360 console cord, I replugged it and I can't sign in, when I try to test my internet connecting it says I need a wireless
adapter even though my router is working fine, along with my internet... this is really frustrating as I was suppost to do a raid today and now I can't connect at all... PLEASE HELP!

change my name gamer tag online

today I change the gamertag online now I cant log in on the old name that connect to my xbox live account. when I tap on the gamer tag I change I get this message . SORRY,THIS PROFILE CAN'T CONNECT TO XBOX LIVE ON THIS CONSOLE . TO FIX IT, DOWNLOAD IT AGAIN.
not sure how I would download it again

Guys. Xbox deemed the word "Poop" as profanity for my account..

so I was doing well in Destiny's crucible, and after I went 3.0 KD in two matches. So Munem original name was "MyPoopHasCorn," but Xbox seemed it inappropriate for users of Xbox Live. On top of this, they changed my name and made it to where I don't get
a free name changer. I paid to change my name to "MyPoopHasCorn," but I can't even change my gamertag after This "offense." I'm disappointed in these rage reporters.

If it is xbox 360S or Xbox 360E then it has an internal wireless adapter. If that is not recognized, means it is a hardware issue and a repair is needed

Live Connection Error

Your console is connected to the internet but can't contact Xbox Live.

It recommends unplugging the router/modem for 30 seconds, but I've tried that several times already.

I was able to successfully sign back in to XBL on the X1 with the hard reset (holding in the power button for 10 seconds, unplugging the power cord, and powering up the x1 again). I was prompted for my first and last name after the X1 powered back on and
after that the console connected to xbox live

To answer all questions.

There are no other gamer profiles on the system. Only mine and it signs in at boot up.

Like Radar said, it only happened 'after' the Xbox Live update. I had the exact same problem a couple months ago after a previous 'Update'.

Even though I know it is not the problem, I went ahead and gave the "Change the DNS Manually' a try. It did not change anything.

So even with these settings, Console turns on, Signs into my gamer profile just fine, but will not connect to Live unless I choose the icon/option on the dashboard to 'Connect and Join Live'.

By the way, I accidentally clicked "Block Communication" on your message Radar and forgot your name, so I couldn't unblock by sending you a message. My bad.

Unfortunately, you can't because of the new name restrictions, It may change in the near future. so keep your eyes peeled.
