    Hey! I'm a tech noob.

    I specifically bought dragon age origins because I lost the disk for my 360 which I still have. I've downloaded the game on Xbox one and it won't let me play!!

    I've looked at a few forums and tried most of the things suggested (most of which I have zero idea about) and it's still not working.

    I'm a single mum and I really don't want to have wasted money on a game I can't use. So can someone please help me with what I'm supposed to do?

    I've tried

    1. Resetting

    2. Checking network (everything's fine)

    3. Delete Xbox 360 cache blah

    4. Pressing select and start at the same time to try and sign in with email and password within the 360 thing and it doesn't even come up with somewhere to put my email into. I just end up on the same "test your connection" sign.

    5. Changing dns to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

    6. I've now uninstalled and waiting for reinstall

    Does anyone have just one version that's not 20 steps long to make this work? Why even offer it if it's going to be a nightmare which it seems to have been for years?

    I'm currently having the same exact issue. I can't connect any of my backwards compatible games to Xbox Live on my Xbox One. I've restarted twice and checked my internet. Neither of these are the issues. My NAT is open and evrything else is fine. I can't
    connect to Xbox Live on backwards compatible games at all!

    I tried this, but whenever I click "Download Profile", it tells me that it can't connect to Xbox Live. Hitting test connection just takes me back to the Xbox One network menu. I've had this problem for weeks now, and I can't play any backwards compatible
    games online.

    Have you let it connect. Its weird it still needs to go back and sign into the 360 server. Just follow and allow it to sign in and access xbox live
    IT WILL NOT CONNECT. It keeps telling me that I need to be connected to live and to trouble shoot my connection. That takes me back to the xbox one network settings where everything checks out fine. I can play and join parties without issues on Xbox One.
    I can't download my profile to play Backwards compatible games.

    Hello, my xbox live profile is called "RinsableMLG" and today for some reason, I can't play xbox 360 backwards compatible games be ause my profile won't download on the xbox 360 servers. I can play xbox one games, but I can't play my xbox 360 games
    and my profile won't download and it states "There's a problem with your credentials, blah blah blah". If I use my other two accounts, I can play on the xbox 360 games but not my RinsableMLG one. I seriosuly don't know what to do and I'm panicking right now.
    I have the exact same problem. I was just trying to play saints row but couldn't connect to xbox live on backwards compatibility. So I deleted my account and now I can't download on backwards compatibility with the same error message as you.
