    I wish to use my xbox one on my laptop since I don't have an adequate moniter to use. I can't seem to connect it to the xbox app, even after I entered my Ip Address.

    Network bridge, unable to connect to xbox live

    I have bridged the connections from my xbox live to my laptop with a ethernet cable, and the internet worked on both the laptop and xbox. Now for some reason I cannot connect to xbox live anymore, the internets still working fine on my laptop but not the
    xbox. can't think of any possible reason for it doing this, any suggestions?

    Right, I am trying to have my Xbox Stream the image from my Laptop on to the Xbox. I used to use it all the time with my Xbox One, and I am able to connect to my other PC. But for some reason, I can't do this with my laptop.

    You can't do it from the console.

    You need to to get the password from the hotel, and input it via a laptop or phone with a connection. Once activated your console can connect.

    guide     has instructions on how to do so. Can you please give those a try and then let me know how it goes?

    The HDMI connection on an HP Pavillion laptop is an output only. You can't connect an Xbox console it. Sorry.
