    Can't connect to XBL after son plays Minecraft


    Hey guys,

    I have found that I have to reset the cache in order to connect to XBL to play COD: Advanced Warfare every time after my son plays Minecraft. My son logs on the One with his account to play Minecraft. He does not have an XBL account and does not play Minecraft
    on line. When I go to play COD later, I make sure he is logged off and I am the only one logged on. When I try to connect to XBL from the COD multiplayer menu the connection times out every time.

    I was just wondering if anyone else had issues similar to this.

    I granted my child permissions to play multi-player minecraft and it continues to say he cannot play. How long does it take for new permissions to load in??

    If that's the case, that's ridiculous. I want to play minecraft multi-player on xbl, which I paid for both xbl and minecraft on my Xbox. But I can't play with my Playstation in the other room because they both are on my microsoft email. So I gotta put my son's microsoft email on the PS5 minecraft login and mine on the Xbox since xbl is exclusive to login email.... so lame.

    This has been my exact problem these past weeks. Can't connect most of the time. Connects sometimes for brief intervils. Then quits Xbl mid game, can't reconnect. Have to reboot.

    The strange thing is everything else works on XBL. Like Netflix, hbo go, and what not. I notice on the "xbox status" page it says, "social and gaming limited". Is that directly related to why I can't play and version of Call Of Duty? You click on details
    and and it says some gibberish pertaining to minecraft nonsense.

    What gives Xbox? I paid a lot of money for your services but cannot play any of my games online. This is the main reason I paid for a gold membership.

    But he wouldn't have to purchase a second online pass if you use your account to download the online pass on his xbox. As long as you don't recover the licenses your son will always be able to play online.

    Since the license is linked to your account then you would be able to play online as long as you are connected to XBL. You have to be connected to xbl to play online anyway so there is no problem.
