Cant connect to wifi on Series X even though every other device in the house can

Have owned the series.x for just under 6 hours. First impressions are that it is a complete pile of junk. Have never owned xbox consoles before and thinking I will ditch this one and go back to my PS5. Aside from the wifi issues, the console has randomly frozen several times, the controller has randomly disconnected and it just seems like a very buggy and poorly designed console.

Have restarted the console and the router with no success. Not sure what else I can do!

Any suggestions welcomed.

Hi Daniel. My name is Kyle and I'm an independent advisor.

Is the console connected to an extension lead/surge protector? This may cause wireless interference for WiFi and the controller connection. Try connecting it directly to a mains plug if possible.

I also advise trying a LAN cable connection instead if possible. If the issue persists over LAN, or you can not use a LAN cable, you could test a different WiFi network such as a mobile hotspot to help diagnose this issue.

Im also having the same problem, my xbox doesn't connect to wifi and every other device in my house could. I even restarted my wifi 4 times and every device would work except my new xbox series x, I never had the problem with my series S. A solution I found
was to reset the xbox and set it back up through my phone but its only temporary, eventually it will say you can't connect to xbox live. Ive only see a few other people with this problem.

yeah, please anyone speak up if they got their problem resolved. Every since I did the update my console can not connect at all. I did everything they recommend. Every other device in my house can connect to our wifi without fail, hell, I even turned off
all the other devices so only my xbox would connect and it still cant. I've used the same configuration in the same location for the past 3 years and never had a problem like this.

Same and it was sudden, I can connect to my phones Hotspot but not my house wifi, nothings changed and house wifi works for every other device...

Was this perhaps the result of a bad update, my console does automatic updates so I dont know when the last one was.

So i had my PS4 and Xbox One x set up vertically next to each other on their respective stands and my xbox one would not connect to any wifi, while every other device in my house did and could. Your post made me move my ps4 across my desk so its not next
to it. Miraculously, my xbox one x connected to wifi. My ps4 was blocking the xbox one from connecting despite the fact the ps4 wasnt even turned on. Any explanation as to why this is the case would be much appreciated?
