Can’t connect to wifi on my x box series X.

When did it start? Have you tried connecting your console to your mobile data hotspot to isolate the issue?

I suggest to also reset or factory reset your router to refresh its configuration and settings. If possible, try to use a different router.

Tried connecting to wifi by wired connection it works but x box still wont connect wireless. Really need it wireless as dont have enough cable cant keep the x box in the hallway. Any other suggestions??

Nope I don’t have mesh, no boosters or anything.

Both machines connected to main hub wifi, and both machines in the same room so can’t even blame distance etc.

Can’t run an ethernet to them as wife will kill me for running cables but i will move the series X into the front room and try it via cable tonight

It’s just baffled me that the X is having crappy downloads but the One isn’t

Hi there. I have tried almost every possible method of restarting, resetting and everything inbetween. Ports are forwarded, etc.

The thing is, I have my Xbox One and Series X set up beside each other. Due to the Series X’s problems, I can switch off my Series X, and switch on my Xbox One, and have no connection issues.

Both playing on the same wifi, both wireless connection, with all the same settings (except the Series X is running on 120fps).

Something is not right with the Series X and I believe it’s more than just needing to reset my MAC address...

Oh, I forgot to specify that! I bought it on the microsoft store, for my x box series x, and I want to download it onto my x box.
