"Can't connect to the Internet"/My wireless extender no longer working on Xbox ...

So I recently moved my bedroom around, therefore meaning I moved my TV along with my Xbox One, and the range extender so it would be close to my Xbox again. My wireless extender has always worked on my One before, but something must have went wrong when
I moved them around but I have no clue what happened. I'm still able to connect to my regular wifi network instead of the extender, and I receive no errors. But if I try to use my extender, I receive the "Can't connect to the Internet" error and I'm unable
to use Xbox Live.

My wireless adapter has all green lights, except for the "Device" since my Xbox is not currently connected to it

The router has all working lights, and the regular ethernet continues to work as well as the wifi since I can still use the regular wifi on my Xbox

Solutions I have tried:

Restarting my routers

Unplugging and plugging back in the extender/trying a different outlet

Restarting my Xbox One/doing a Power Cycle/Turning it on and off normally

Disconnecting from the extender, and re-entering the password to reconnect multiple times

Looking through the manual for the extender

Looking through the Support forums for both Xbox and the extender

Network Issues

Hello, my Xbox One is having problems connecting with my wireless network. When I turn on my Xbox it says it isn't connected to the internet, and when I try to set up my wireless network again it says it has a wired connection when it doesn't. It says I
need to unplug the wired connection in order to connect to the wireless, which I can't do because I don't have a wired connection. This has happened before and restarting my Xbox has fixed it, but restarting the console is no longer working. Can anyone help?

Won't let me connect to live.

I have the same problem. LIVE has been working perfectly for a long time, and suddenly I can't connect.

No problems accessing the internet with everything else in the house, just my Xbox, both wired and wireless.

During the test, it connects to the network, then the internet but not XBOXLIVE.

So I did all the steps over and over and over again, and NOTHING helps.

Something fishy is going on here.

Hmm, are any devices able to connect to the extender? Have you tried doing a factory reset on the extender and re-setting it up with the router again yet?

I'm trying to connect to the internet on my series X and it can't detect my modem. I have an internet range extender and it can't detect it either as long as the main modem is still in running order. If the modem is turned off or not functioning properly I can connect to the range extender, and I get 'Cannot connect to the DCHP server' message. When the modem is turned on, the range extender dissappers from the list and I get a 'Can't connect to wireless network' error. Tired of this, I went to the advanced network' settings, did virtually nothing and when it checked the network' status, I got this error code.

Bear in mind that I've set my console up while it was connected to the extender, this issue wasn't present until one day I tried to start my console up and it just wouldn't connect to the extender or the router. We have a 2nd range extender-ish modem that is connected to the main router, it just works like an extender. And, bizarrely, I can connect to the 'extender modem' with no problems. I have no idea why is that. I have tried the troubleshooting steps (exept connecting via wire bc we don't have one lying around) and it just won't work. I don't want to connect to the 'extender modem' because it's too far away for an optimal connection.

Thanks for your response. Network extenders can cause many issues when connecting to Xbox Live, they work well for extending the range of your wireless networks for streaming movies or internet surfing, but they can cause issues for high-demand online gaming.
Try disabling the extender for a while and test out your connection.

It's a brand new xbox was able to connect at the start but no longer. I have a wireless internet cnnection

We've tried these solutions a few times. Don't know why it isn't working. Xbox live gold isn't connecting to my internet. I have Internet connection. That's not the issue.

We've disconnected and reconnected the wireless connection at least five times but still Xbox can't connect? Any other clues please?

The Xbox One wireless adaptor doesn't work on Xbox consoles. It is designed for PC's only. You can't extend the range.
