    Can't connect to specific friend on Xbox one games.


    Alright. I've scoured the internet looking for a solution, to no avail. When trying to connect to one of my friends in any of the games we both own, first we have trouble connecting in party chat, then once we miraculously fix that (still cuts out from time
    to time) we can NEVER manage to join each other's session, no matter who is host. Both of us have checked privacy settings, both of us are infinitely sure our NAT is set to open, we're both on the same alternate ports, we've tried almost everything short of
    calling our ISPs. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Can't connect to a specific friend

    When I try to connect to a friend's xbox party, it says that I can't join the party. This happens sometimes. However, I can never join this specific friend's game.

    We play Assassin's Creed 4 Multiplayer together frequently but it doesn't let me connect to his game session, and he can't connect to mine as well. It was fine a couple of days ago. I've already portforward my xbox a long time ago too. I can connect to
    all of my other friends except this specific friend of mine.

    Any suggestions? I'll link my friend to this post so he can discuss as well.

    No sir, but i will say we did talk to someone from microsoft via phone conversation. He ended up calling his ISP. They manually reset his internet through them. He sent me a party invite and BOOM, connected with no lag. Tried again on red dead online,
    BOOM! Connected with no issue. Our issue is fixed.

    Hello!

    Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. I understand your having issues playing with a friend. I recommend you both try removing and recovering your profiles? You may also want to consider a restore to factory defaults I recommend
    the "Keep My Games & Apps" option on both.

    Note: You will need your Microsoft Account email and password to recover your account after the reset.
