Can't connect to online multiplayer games

I am trying to play online games with another player, but there is always a problem connecting. For example, I've downloaded the compatibility pack for Borderlands 2 many times, but everytime I try to play online, it prompts me to download it again as
if I never got it in the first place. This network problem is consistent with other online games. Also, I cannot connect to or join amy Xbox Live parties or private chats. I have deleted my profile and re-downloaded it, and I have also reset the network settings.
The connection to Xbox live works just fine. It's only connecting to games and parties that I'm having trouble with.

Can't connect in what way, online to play multiplayer? The game won't open? Please be specific as possible and someone can help.

 

Can't connect to EA online

I downloaded BC2 but everytime I try to play multiplayer it shows a message that I can't connect to EA online. What can I do to connect to EA online?

 

Hello,

the issue with multiplayer games is mainly cause by your NAT settings. You should forward your network ports and make sure your NAT settings are not moderate or strict because that impedes connection to multiplayer games
