Can't connect to my router

Ummmm hello any Microsoft tech people actually paying attention here?!? Same problem... And I'm super pissed. I paid $341 for an Xbox One 1TB Limited Edition and it sees my 5 gigahertz connection but will not connect to it no matter what I do even though
it connects just fine to my 2.4 gigahertz and works when its wired. Fix now please.

I got a new router fitted (D Link DIR-853) and I have been trying for 10 hours to get my x box to connect with it. . . any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!! Thanks a million!

Which console do you have?

Is your console wired, or wireless, to your router?

Please post up any troubleshooting steps you've taken so far, so we don't post up solutions that may only echo back.

How are you trying to connect?

Hard-wired, or wirelessly?

Does it detect the connection?

I'd try troubleshooting the way outlined in our support page entitled “I need help with my Xbox One network connection” if you're having problems.

Give that guide a try and let us know how it helps.
