Can't connect to my router after the preview update !

    Can't connect to my router after the preview update !


    everything was working perfectly fine and i have a great connection. But as soon i applied this recent update ive not been able to connect to my router ? can someone help cause its really *deleted expletives* me of as i cant play anything online ..

    Sorry I should have explained you can use:-



    • WPA2-PSK (TKIP)
    • WPA2-PSK (AES)
    • WPA2-PSK (Auto) which is AES+TKIP


    Try using WPA2-PSK (AES)

    Hmmm I'm using WPA2-PSK. Will have a look at AES. Thanks Shado0wmanUK, will test it out tomorrow morning.

    I fixed mine by following Shadowman's instructions; I changed router cipher to WPA2-AES and it worked instantly. thanks.

    Jay, it depends on your router make/model, its easy enough to do once you have access to the routers menu via your browser, if your not sure download a manual for your router.

    • WPA2-PSK (AES)
    • WPA2-PSK (Auto) which is AES+TKIP
