Can't Connect To My Friend's World In Minecarft Windows 10 Edition

I just wanted to play with my friend , she created a new world , she even tried to invite me, it didn't help either.

Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition: I can't join my friend's world

I have the same problem. all my friends can join it but I can't. it worked fine a week ago, but after the weekend it has gone downhill.

I have tried the following:

restarting pc

changing networks

toggling the proxy network settings (i watched a video)

and reinstalled (So it is on the latest version)

I have made sure that I am logged in an account is not terminated or anything. I can access other servers like mineplex fine it's just my friend's server. please help.

Hi, I'm Lucky and I'll try to help you this afternoon. He may not have an updated version of Minecraft yet. Trying checking for updates, if that's not the case try making a new world/server.

It could be based on a variety of factors. The most notable being your internet connection, each user's privacy settings, and the settings of the Minecraft world.

For your internet, doing a quick restart of your router/modem could help if it is a connection issue.

For privacy settings, make sure that there aren't any restrictions preventing the both of you from playing.

For the Minecraft world, make sure that there aren't any settings that prevent other players from joining and that the play settings are adjusted accordingly based on how you and your friend would like to play.

The problem is probably that you do not have NAT Open. Check this in Network Settings> Advanced Settings and in the middle of the screen you will see the NAT Type. If you have Moderate or Strict it is clear. And to have a NAT Open, you need to contact
your ISP and ask for an Open NAT.

Im playing on xbox but i downloaded the windows 10 edition, and im having trouble while joining a friend’s world, it says that it wasnt able to connect to the server

Update: I've deduced that I'm the problem. We had one of our friends try to join a world hosted by my friend and one hosted by me. He was able to connect to my friend but not me. Don't know how to fix it still, but at least I know the part of the problem.

The Minecraft Xbox One Edition only works on the Xbox One Edition.

You might want to upgrade to the Minecraft (without Xbox One Edition in the name) on your Xbox. If you bought Minecraft Xbox One Edition digitally, you can upgrade to "Minecraft" for free.

Then you can import your world from the Xbox One Edition to "Minecraft" for Xbox One.

However, the Support page for Windows 10 Minecraft states: "The Windows 10 Edition does not currently support the transferring of worlds from other devices."

So you can't transfer your world between devices.

You might have to move your World to a paid online Realm server to access it. Or you might have to run your Xbox One Minecraft in Multiplayer, and connect to the running world on your Xbox One with your Windows 10 version.

But you can't have your World separately transferred from Xbox to other devices.

As I said, you can try hosting your world on a Realm server (which you need to pay for), and can then access it with Windows 10, Xbox One, Android, iOS and Nintendo Switch.

But not JAVA.
