  1. Can't connect to Live through Xbox 360; ICMP Error

Hello, I've been dealing with a strange issue regarding my Xbox 360 and connecting to Xbox Live. The most recent test failed message I received was an ICMP Error, it states: 'Your console is not receiving ICMP responses properly from your router or modem.
Visit www.xbox.com/icmp-help for more help.' Unfortunately that page doesn't seem to be available any longer. Some information: I use a wireless adapter and my internet service provider is Comcast.
I've reset my router and modem a few times to no avail.

I've tested my connection multiple times and the issue seems to keep changing. I just tried again and now it's simply telling me I can't access the internet and something is wrong with my connection. Tried yet again and the new error message states my console
is connected to the internet, but can't contact Xbox Live. I noticed my Wireless Mode settings kept flickering on and off. One moment it's telling me my settings are connected, the next it's telling me everything is offline. This probably has to do with the
multiple failure messages. However the ICMP Error message has me the most curious.

There have been a couple of times I managed to connect to Xbox Live, but I'm prompted with a message saying along the lines of 'Some Xbox Live features are temporarily unavailable.' However 'some' seems to equate to Xbox Live in it's entirety. All I could
access was my friends list. Trying to boot up a game in this Xbox Live state just got me booted from Xbox Live. Wasn't even trying to access a multiplayer game! Then I'm back to square one..

I hope my explanation makes some sense and isn't complete gibberish. As I said it's a strange issue and I don't have a clue as to what the problem is. Interesting to note I have an Xbox One as well and when I turn on that console I'm not connected to Xbox
Live either, but it fixes the problem on it's own rather swiftly and it seems to stay that way. Every Xbox Live feature seems to be available to me and I don't seem to have problems staying connected to Xbox Live.

    :)

  2. ICMP error

    Hello.

My Xbox 360 console can't connect to internet by wireless connection. On the same router wired connection works well and can connect to Xbox Live correct. It's ICMP error occurred. I'v trying static and dynamic IP, with NAT enable and disable. My router
model "Netis WF2419E", it has actual software instead.

    • On the Additional Settings tab, select Restore to Factory Defaults.
    • Select Yes, Restore to Factory Defaults.
    • Turn off your console and then turn on your console.
    • Follow the prompt to configure your wireless settings.
