Can't Connect to Live But Have a Network Connection

Alright, so I just moved in to a new house for college and we got our new internet hooked up yesterday that is supposed to be super good (it's not). But anyway, I haven't been able to connect to Xbox Live since I moved in, but every time I test both the
network and multiplayer connections, it says they're working fine. Anybody else had this issue?

There is no button or menu to connect!

The system is not connected, I do a network test and it passes, but still is not connected... I can't do anything with the X1 if it's not connected to live!

Is there a way to manually connect to Xbox live in this console?

Xbox Live is under DDOS attack at the moment. I'm sure MS will have it solved shortly.

 

Are you getting an error message? If so, could you post it here? Being able to see the error will help us in getting you going in the right direction!

 

That's the weird thing, it doesn't give any error message. It just says "It's all good. There are no problems with your connection..." after I test both the network and multiplayer connections. Then I go back to the main menu and it still isn't connected
to Live and it just circles me back to the test connection part again.

I'm starting to think that our internet is just really fluctuating in terms of it working or not. At least it seems that way when I use a computer.

 

I have the same issues today.

Connection tests are fine. I have 100Mb fibre.

Hard resetting the xbox 1 and also power cycling the router has not helped. I have done this many times now.

Cache clearing the xbox1 not worked.

I have tried this on wifi connection and wired connection.

I have tried the complete reset by powering xbox1 off and holing the drive button and power button together also.

I have double checked that the necessary ports are opened on the router from a guide on this site somewhere about the ports.

There's no error messages at all except of course my dashboard has no pins or news on it etc and the boxes just have the message connect to live etc

Everything was fine last night but as it is now there's no way to connect to xbox live.

 

I'm also having the same problem today I got on after a while so I was invited to my friends party and I tried to join an it said that I needed xboxlive membership. So I put n one code and it said confirm and I clicked it so the it said that I already have
good membership and I should give it to a friend. Then I loaded up Forza 5 and clicked multiplayer and it said I needed to put in a code so the I put the same code it and it didn't work. I tried three time and then I got a separate code and put that code in.
It keeps saying that I already have it but I can't join party's or play multiplayer and I'm thinking the code I'm putting in are being use but army showing or the xbox is just messing up. I hope you guys can find out what the problem is because I can't do
anything with my friend.

 

Same problem here. New machine, perfect network connection. Downloaded Forza and some updates, but it won't ID the connection. I just got this for a few days ago for my son and am about to return this PoS. We just want to play some damn games and I keep
jumping through circles on Xbox Live, Gold, etc. He got Plants vs Zombies, and that damn thing won't play without a Live connection, but it all test out fine.

 

I have the exact problems as mentioned above, checked with my ISP and broadband is fine, I run the tests through the xbox and they come back fine, I have tried doing the reset and clearing the cache trick but have had no luck, still seeing the box to the
right saying connect to xbox live, I phoned xbox support yesterday where they told me my case would be escalated and I was to receive a call tonight with a solution, no surprise to say I didn't get the call. other thing happening to me on the xbox is when
I power it up it signs in to my profile but then kicks me out after a while, I manually try signing in again and get the message "There was a problem, we could not sign you in, try again in a few minutes, or check your account by signing in to account.live.com.
Sign in: 0x87DD0017" my account is fine, checks out okay through my laptop and have no issues signing in and using marketplace on xbox 360.....had this problem with my xbox one for over 6 weeks now.

I know I'm with bell and they said they are having a lot of people who are having connection problems with the xbox one

 

I can't connect to Xbox Live. Trying to play Destiny and gives me an error of 0x80048051

 

Welcome to the club bud i have a 500$ paper wight now cause i cant connect online but my x1 is telling me my connection is good

 

I also can`t connect to Xbox live. When i`m testing my network it says i`m ok.

 

Has anyone found a fix to this yet? I'm wondering if it's bell that's the problem?
