Can't connect to live account -> can't play castlevania: SOTN

My xbox one can't connect to 360 game profile thus making some games like castlevania: SOTN unplayable. The game just states: can't connect, please check your network etc.

What solutions there are to this problems, if any?

And can't those game be made to work locally without need for live account?

Profile not uploaded in backward games

Didn't work for me, bought my xbox 2 days ago 1TB version, I Have been trying to play Castlevania SOTN. Same problem can't connect to the network.

Getting an error message while trying to buy a game

Getting this message trying to buy Castlevania SOTN. I also can't get to checkout screen on my Xbox, that's why I tried online.

Nevermind, seemed like having new user name on X1 prevended connecting to my account.

Downloaded the new profile fixed this.

Yeah it was the Castlevania: SOTN. I have gold and it was free. I remember playing it when I was younger.

I'd like to see another 2D RPG platformer on the modern console. Castlevania is the only one I can think of.

They continued it with the DS which was awesome. They also had HoD on 360 which was just a quick multiplayer blast through though. Not as good as SotN, PoaR or OoE. The newest 3D Castlevania on 360 was decent, but I'd rather play SotN or any of the DS'
Castlevania games all day.

I hope they continue it with 3DS but It would be nice to see sometihng similar on 360.

SOTN is coming to gold in July eve if I have it on the PSP I'm still download it to remember the first time I played it (first Castlevania that played btw) .
