Cant connect to internet

So I cant seem to connect to the internet with my Xbox



I have used 2X routers, Phone WI-FI hotspot and Tablet Hotspot



Non of them worked

:)

i also have a netgear router worked fine for a couple years but haven't been able to get on live for almost a week even tried plugging ethernet cable strait to modem,cables all work router works laptop works xbox console doesn't, my xbox doesn't get online
or even detect ethernet cable?

I have a netgear router that i just bought and i can't connect xbox to my router!!! I have tried everything router and xbox support says and need feedback on other possible ways to connect!!!

 

Now tried the Ethernet cable no luck

So do you want error status report?

When you test connection there is m Xbox360-WIFIname-Internet-Xbox Live

It wont go further than between Xbox360 and Wifiname

Let's try some basic troubleshooting steps and we'll go from there.

Start by clearing your Xbox system cache.

1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
   
2. Select Storage or Memory.
3. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller.
4. Select Clear System Cache.
5. Repeat this process three times in a row.

Restore your consoles network settings to factory defaults, to issue new IP configuration from the router.

1. Go to Settings and select System Settings.
2. Select Network Settings.
3. Select your connection type (Wired/Wireless).
4. Select Configure Network.
5. On the Additional Settings tab, select Restore to factory defaults.
   
6. Turn your console off and then on.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your wireless network.
8. Go to Network Settings and select Test Xbox Live Connection.

Not you it's live. Been messed up for like two weeks straight(some say 3). The problem is worse for some people where they can't even connect, to being kicked offline every few minutes, to lots of lag.

They say it's only effecting 1 or 2 games but it's all online games.

I'm shocked that none of the staff here know this or haven't even mentioned it lol. Got you wasting time doing basic maintenance and basic checks and it's not even the issue. SMH we're "paying"
for this crap.

[/quote]May I ask, did you intentionally change the values for A:, G:, and D: to all zeros, or are these the values that you actullay see after you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" and press “Y” for "More Info?

This information is relevant as you first stated that you can't connect to the Internet with your console, but according to these values you can't even connect within your own network, let alone to the Internet at large.

Yes these are values with GreenNet router, but i figured out the problem(only for ZTE not for GreenNet)

So I have certain amount of Internet on ZTE router(I belive its 60, 70GB or soemthing close) and i have wasted that, so when new month starts then internet refills and now Xbox works.
