Can't connect to internet.

Hey guys. I've been trying all morning to get my xbox to connect to live. It worked perfectly yesterday, not sure what happened. But anyways, the test always fails at the spot between my network and the internet. I've tried restarting my modem, router and
xbox. I've check and doubled checked the security password and anything else I can think of. Any help would be so appreciated, I will bake you cookies.

Seems that there are some server side flaws.

A lot of people are receiving errors.

Greetings tishy!

Appreciate if you could post up the make and model of your modem.

If you haven't already, try the following steps up front and let us know how that goes.

Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.

Select Storage or Memory.

Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller.

Select Clear System Cache.

Repeat this process three times in a row.

Go to Xbox Network Settings and select Configure Network. Select the
Additional settings tab, and Restore network settings to factory defaults.

Restart your console and reconnect to your wireless network.

If you're still stuck between the network and Internet phase, try bypass your router and connect your console directly to your modem (?), and verify if you're able to connect to Live properly, or not.

Unplug your router for 30 seconds from electricity. Then turn it on, it could help. If you do not try deleting the cache in Xbox, you will do so by holding the Xbox Power button on the console for 10 seconds.

Have you tried to contact AT&T or your internet service provider? I think if you ask them to open some ports, that may solve it. Had that happen with me once.

I am very sorry for the problem you are experiencing, to try to help you I need to understand the problem better, so please answer the following: What console are you using? Could you write the error message it gives you in the text? Since when do you have this problem? Do you use wireless or wired connection?

Thank you everyone for assistance. As it turns out my Verizon Fios router blocked the Xbox after it ran an update on itself. It was hard to see without looking for it. To see it you have to:

1. Log into your Verizon Fios Router

2. Select my network.

3. Find your Xbox and note the status will show as blocked like it does in the picture

4. Under Device Option select Unblock

I am still not sure why this happened I can only note that i now have some sort of Xbox assistant app that was not there before this all happened. Hope this helps someone else Thansk
