Can't Connect to Internet

I have an Xbox 360 that is connecting directly to my router with an ethernet cable. My internet is working just fine as well. I port-forwarded my router about 2 or 3 years ago, I've tried cycling the power, clearing the system cache, and deleting the latest
Xbox update, and I still can't connect to the internet on my 360. My cable works just fine as well.

If it helps, I haven't been able to connect to the internet through my 360 since Lizard Squad took down the servers on Christmas

Seems that there are some server side flaws.

Well I can sign into xbox live and I have a great connection but yet I lag. I went to the dashboard to see if the Internet is messing up. So I tested my xbox live connection and it says that I can't connect my network to the Internet but yet I can still
sign in. Please help with this problem. I don't like lag or it saying that when I can still connect after I do the test

Hey, guys! I'm sorry to see that you are unable to connect. I just wanted to pop in and let you know that if you are able to sign in and use Live services, than we are looking into why the connection test says you are not able to connect.

However, if you are unable to sign in at all, please wait for the current situation to resolve before posting what you're running into. We want to make sure everything is back up and running before we troubleshoot you.

i have the same problem as a MicroPorkypin dunno whats up with that :/ was literally 1 rocket from killing atheon on vault of glass on hard mode but i was lagging so much that i had to quit and check my internet connection.

Unplug your router for 30 seconds from electricity. Then turn it on, it could help. If you do not try deleting the cache in Xbox, you will do so by holding the Xbox Power button on the console for 10 seconds.

Have you tried to contact AT&T or your internet service provider? I think if you ask them to open some ports, that may solve it. Had that happen with me once.

Could you write the error message it gives you in the text? Since when do you have this problem? Do you use wireless or wired connection?

Thank you everyone for assistance. As it turns out my Verizon Fios router blocked the Xbox after it ran an update on itself. It was hard to see without looking for it. To see it you have to:

1. Log into your Verizon Fios Router

2. Select my network.

3. Find your Xbox and note the status will show as blocked like it does in the picture

4. Under Device Option select Unblock

I am still not sure why this happened I can only note that i now have some sort of Xbox assistant app that was not there before this all happened. Hope this helps someone else Thansk
