Cant connect to gold

Hi my live membership ran out last nigbt so i used my redeem code to get another 12 months (get one every year for Christmas) but its not letting me play online? My internet connection is working and whenever i go to play online it says i need to buy gold
but i already have it! Thought the code wasnt put in right so i redeemed it again and not it says its already been used? Any ideas?

I cant connect to xbox live when i have Xbox Gold. It says everything is up and running but Silver wont be able to connect in a wile. I need help I cant Connect.

 

Please log in to https://account.microsoft.com/services to see if the membership was added to your account. If it is not then check other accounts on your console to make sure it wasn't accidentally added
to one of those.

If it is there then try deleting your gamertag then redownloading it to see if that helps as it can sometimes take a bit of time to populate the account.

Finally, just for future reference you can stack up to 36 months of Live on an account.

 

same problem here, xbox live expired, i exteneded for 3 months, accounts says on xbox live that gold ist active but cant play online or join party! it happened today

 

It might be best to re-download your profile back onto your console.
